SEO questions and answers
How does BAC Holdings get higher rankings?
There are only 2 major areas of concern in any successful SEO campaign. The first is the content on the site, and the second is links pointing back to the site. Our methods are designed to increase the amount of relevant content on your site, and increase the number of 1-way links pointing to your site from other quality websites in your niche.
To see a great example of our work, please visit www.theassetprotection.com. This is one of our clients. The copy created by a professional copy writer contains unique content that we added to our clients site around each of their keywords. We do create additional content that is keyword dense and easily digested by search engines, but we never create cloaking pages that are intended for search engines only, because those techniques give very short term results and sooner or later gets your site banned from all engines.
By focusing on quality of the content and not just the form, we add value to the site and over a certain period of time improve overall visitor satisfaction.
The second factor we will enhance is the number of quality sites that link back to the client site. Unlike black hats, we have been around for more than a decade and DO know a lot people in the business. This effectively means that you will get links form respected sites and never be in danger of any SE penalization. We never, ever, use link dumps or any other spam technique that might generate temporary results and then get you banned forever.
How long will the process take?
Most campaigns take roughly 90 days to hit their stride at which point a good portion of the targeted keywords will have a top 10 position across Google, MSN, Yahoo etc.
What about experience in my industry?
Industry is not important in SEO. It all boils down to keywords and all keywords are the same in that it’s just a matter of analyzing the competitiveness of the keyword and the client website and determining what it will take to get that website to rank 1st page for the keyword in question. We have worked with every major industry ranging from low competition keywords to very competitive keywords. Still, unlike most of the competition we take our time to research and learn about your industry, analyze the competition and develop strategies that give results that are permanent.
How does the SEO process work and what is the clients involvement?
The process begins after the paperwork has been taken care of. The first step is an in depth keyword analysis. This is where we use our keyword tools which pull in the previous months search data from the search engines themselves and find every keyword that is getting good traffic and is related to what the client is selling. The client submits their estimation of the best keywords. We take this list and put it into our tools and then let the data tell us what direction to go – WE DO NOT GUESS, we send a recommended list based on the data we found back to the client for approval and move on to the next step. This step takes usually about one week.
We then have our article writers research the keywords using the client’s website first and then expanding their research to other sources. We create an article around each keyword we are targeting. This process takes about one week.
After the articles or copy are completed if needs be, we send them to the client for approval and then integrate them into the website. This again takes about one week.
This is where we begin our linking campaign. This process will take about 4 – 5 weeks to complete the first phase.
Finally we wait about 30 – 45 days for the rankings to come in. The client involvement, other than monitoring is completed after the articles are approved if needs be.
How does the pricing work?
Pricing is arrived at from several factors. The first factor is the current strength of your website in terms of SEO. We analyze several factors to determine what existing strengths your website has in terms of SEO that will make our job easier. Things like having a domain name that is over a year old, or having existing links pointing to the site are factors that may decrease the investment necessary.
The main other issue which impacts the price is the overall competitiveness of the keyword market that is being targeted. Some keyword markets are very competitive and some are not. By doing an initial analysis on the keyword market we can determine what it will take to get your website in a position to nudge one of your competitors off of the 1st page, and get you the ranking you need!!
Like other SEO companies, we charge a down payment and a monthly maintenance fee. The greatest part of the down payment is used to launch the SEO campaign and get the site its upward momentum. The monthly maintenance fee is a month to month charge that covers the work we need to do each month to maintain your rankings.
It should be noted that our goal is for you to MUCH MORE THAN EARN BACK our fees through the increased traffic and leads that will be generated once your page reaches the higher ranking and our current clients report that this is truly the case.
Do we work with competing companies at the same time?
Simply put, NO. It is our policy to not work with two clients targeting the same keyword market. We consider that a conflict of interest.
Do offer any guarantees?
We do not offer a ranking guarantee simply because it is unethical to do so. Much like an investment funds manager cannot guarantee a particular return. We urge you to BEWARE of SEO companies that offer guaranteed rankings. Most often when you investigate what they are really offering it turns out to be 1st page rankings on second tier search engines for keywords that get little to no traffic.
What is the monthly maintenance fee for?
We cannot do to many changes all at one time because it would not look natural to the search engine and might give them the idea we are engaged in unethical or “black hat” techniques to achieve rankings. We have to space the changes out over several months. Beyond that, once we get the rankings the maintenance fee is to protect you from losing rankings due to the search engines changing their algorithm or competitors changing their websites. We will constantly monitor your site and be in position to make changes when necessary.
Are there any long term contracts?
Unlike other SEO companies, with us, there are no long term contracts. We fully expect to show you the value in our services each and every month, otherwise you will not continue to pay us.
What are “Black Hat” SEO techniques?
“Black Hat” SEO techniques are those used by companies that do not expect to be around very long. They are trying to get quick top page rankings so that they can make a quick profit and then they do not care about their ranking. There are many, methods, but the simple analogy is to think of these techniques and attempts to ‘trick’ the search engine in to inflating the relevance of a page. We use strictly “WHITE HAT” SEO techniques. Our methods have NEVER resulted in a website being banned or de-indexed by the search engines because of shady SEO techniques.
What makes BAC Holdings Different?
Our process has been tested and honed over the past 5 years and is very predictable and solid. No other company uses the proprietary methods that we use. Our success rate in achieving 1st page rankings is 98-99%.
We are in a unique position of not needing “every scrap of business out there”. That means we can be selective and only accept clients that we are extremely confident we can help.
Because we use a unique “remote work group” business model, our overhead is low, meaning that our fees are often 20% - 30% less than other companies that have lower results.
